The Group Executive Leadership Team (GEL) consists of the Head of the Divisions and Group Functions and met to discuss the potential we now have with the new Group going forward. The GEL will meet on a regular basis to discuss the overall strategy, synergies, and possibilities across the Group.
Operational focus and decisions will continue to take place within the different Divisions, while Group strategy including synergies across the divisions, best practice learning and other commonalities, will be discussed in this forum.
Some key takeaways from the first meeting:
- The Group has a very strong portfolio of products and services in all key markets. This will give us synergies and further possibilities going forward.
- Together we have a very strong foundation, a broad platform of technical and practical competence, and a wide international network with a lot of common customers.
- From the first discussions in the team, several possible benefits, synergies and opportunities were identified that will be discussed and taken forward by the team.
- We will all be ambassadors for the total Group, and we will continue our work and cooperation to take out these opportunities.
- The current strategic priorities remain unchanged, but we will start a joint strategy process across the Group in the autumn, mapping out the strategy for the Group in total.
- The team also discussed how the Group’s functions can support our various divisions in the best possible manner, with the joint vision to:
- Make ScaleAQ Group THE BEST PLACE to work within the worlds aquaculture supplier industry,
- Make ScaleAQ Group global driver for sustainability in aquaculture,
- Provide the financial capacity, capabilities, and analytical insight for both operational improvements and setting the overall strategy for the Group.
The first meeting showed the uniqueness of each division, but also the great potential of shared experiences and opportunities across the Group.
