Changes in policy settings for increase security for SharePoint and Teams

We are adopting the zero-trust framework and hence moving towards requiring that all users, whether in or outside the organization’s network, to be authenticated, authorized, and continuously validated for security configuration and posture before being granted or keeping access to applications and data.

Below you will find a list of planned configuration changes that will take place shortly to increase security and adopt recommended collaborative settings. Please note that the activation date is when we will perform the change.

It will affect your computers, access to data, Teams, and SharePoint.

A lot of additional changes will be made on a general level not affecting you, however some settings might be visible in certain uses and are listed below.

The biggest change is for June when a non-compliant device will be blocked for accessing resources. Please ensure to check and fix that your computer is compliant.

Any questions you can reach us on itsupport@scaleaq.com. If you need help with fixing any issues, please raise a ticket as described here: IT – ScaleAQ Intranet

Employees must ensure that all company-issued devices (laptops, smartphones, tablets) are compliant with the latest security patches, antivirus software, and encryption tools. A status for this is available in the Company Portal (Firmaportal), click Devices on the right-hand side and check for the status “Can access company resources” as on the image below. Click into each device for more information if it is not compliant.
