ScaleAQ enters agreement with Servi Group for Sale of CleanPump

ScaleAQ and Servi Group have signed a distribution agreement for CleanPump, a dead fish collector developed and produced by Servi. The agreement grants ScaleAQ the exclusive right to sell and market this product going forward, while Servi continues as the manufacturer of the pump.

Servi developed CleanPump, a compact and efficient dead fish collector, in 2021 and delivered the first pumps on order from Mowi the same year. Since then, the company has sold over 40 units of CleanPump to the world’s largest aquaculture companies, for use in fish farms in Norway, Canada, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands. During this period, Servi has also further developed the product multiple times, based on customer feedback.

With CleanPump, one person can easily handle the process without the need for heavy lifting. This reduces the risk and contributes to increased workplace safety. Our clear focus on safety is clearly reflected in the product’s design.

CleanPump prevents the most common cause of escapes in fish pens, namely holes in the net. The pump has no fixed installation in the pen – it is lowered down when in use and lifted up again when not in use. All parts that come into contact with the net have rounded corners, ensuring the pump cannot damage the material. This is an example of how technology can play a crucial role in addressing various environmental challenges.

“We are pleased that the agreement was signed before the AquaNor trade fair, allowing us to present this as news just before the fair begins. The pump will be exhibited at Skansen, providing us with a fantastic opportunity to showcase our new product,” says Alf Eidsvik. “We look forward to sharing more information and details about CleanPump in the time to come.”
