Vi spisser vår satsing på Closed Aquaculture Systems (CAS), og trekker oss samtidig ut av de store landbaserte turn-key-prosjektene.

Gjennom AquaOptima har vi større pågående turn-key-prosjekter for bygging av RAS-fasiliteter, som inkluderer full prosjektering, engineering og prosjektledelse, i tillegg til leveranse og oppfølging.

Etter en grundig gjennomgang av virksomheten har vi besluttet å gjøre en justering i strategien vår inn mot den viktige vekstnæringen oppdrett på land representerer; produksjon av både settefisk og matfisk.

Vi flytter fokuset vårt fra leveranser av totalentrepriser for RAS-anlegg, til en spisset satsning på leveranser av teknologi og kompetanse til det vi nå benevner som Closed Aquaculture Systems. Ved å gå bort fra de store totalentreprisene vil vi søke å etablere oss i en leverandørposisjon i hele markedet for lukket teknologi.

Vi har oppbygd en unik kompetanse innen overvåkningsteknologi (kamera), digitalisering, software, fôringssystemer og nå gjennom vår nyopprettede satsing på fagområdet: Bærekraft. Vi ønsker å utnytte synergier fra vår eksisterende kompetanse og produkter fra den sjøbaserte satsningen til CAS. Vi ser at det vil komme en rivende teknologisk utvikling innen alle disse områdene.

Vi skal etablere oss i en posisjon som en ledende leverandør gjennom å tilby rådgiving og levere enkeltstående produkter og systemløsninger som bidrar til en bærekraftig utvikling. 

Endringen i strategien som innebærer at vi trekker oss ut av turn-key-prosjekter, over til en mer spisset satsning, medfører følgende for AquaOptima / Landbased:

• En reorganisering av AquaOptima:
• En nedbemanning / reduksjon av funksjoner i AquaOptima med 7 stillinger.
• Bibeholde en kjernegruppe for å sikre gjennomføring av pågående prosjekt(er).

We are now concentrating our efforts on Closed Aquaculture Systems (CAS) 
and at the same time withdrawing from land-based turnkey projects.

Through AquaOptima we are involved in major turnkey projects for building RAS facilities, which include full design, engineering and project management as well as delivery and follow up.

In the wake of a thorough review of our activities, we have decided to adjust and adapt our strategy to what the important growth industry of land-based fish farming represents; i.e. both juvenile fish and food fish.

We change from delivering turnkey contracts for RAS facilities to focus on supplying technology and competence to what we now call Closed Aquaculture Systems. By leaving the major turnkey contracts, we intend to be established in a position as suppliers to the entire market for closed technology.

We have built a unique competence in the areas of surveillance technology (cameras), digitalisation, software, feeding systems and now sustainability – through our newly started work in this specialised field. We want to exploit the synergies from our existing competence and products and go from sea-based activities to CAS. We foresee that there will be a rapid technological development in all these fields.

We shall establish ourselves in a position as a leading supplier by offering consulting, delivering individual products and system solutions which will contribute to a sustainable development. 

The change in strategies by pulling out of turnkey projects and going for a more concentrated field of activity has the following consequences for AquaOptima / Landbased:

• A reorganisation of AquaOptima:
• A downsizing/reduction of functions at AquaOptimawith 7 positions
• Maintenance of a core group to ensure performance of ongoing projects
