Visit by the Norwegian Ambassador

ScaleAQ Chile really believes that collaboration is the driving force behind innovation. A few days ago, the office had the honor of hosting Norway’s Ambassador to Chile, Per Anders Nilsen. He was invited to learn first-hand about how we as a company are driving technological advancement in aquaculture.

The visit began at Australis Seafoods, where he was showned the remote feeding center. This control room is one of the most advanced in the world and allows the feeding of 20 sea farming sites located in Regions XI and XII, nearly 2,000 kilometers (1,300 miles) away. All is done in real time from a single control point.

Afterward, the Ambassador visited facilities at ScaleAQ Chile, where he was able to see the work being carried out in workshop, service, and manufacturing areas. He also interact with the administration and commercial teams. The visit concluded with a tour of Chiles own Showroom, where he was presented to key solutions such as cages, cameras, feeding systems.

– We deeply appreciate this type of engagement, which strengthens the ties between Chile and Norway and enables us to continue building a more technological, efficient, and animal-welfare-focused aquaculture industry, Oscar tells.
