From october 1. a new technical department is established in ScaleAQ Chile. This department brings together the commercial steel cutter department, the engineering team and the steel production under one common management. The change will contribute to faster and more efficient work processes, easier communication and closer collaboration across the teams in Chile.

We expect that the merger will also provide better scope for innovation and further development of both existing products and future solutions. At the same time, this strengthens our ability to meet increasing demands and expectations from customers in Chile.

The new technical department is headed by César Navarrete, and the position replaces the role of Production Manager in the management team. César comes from the position as Head of Infrastructure Business in ScaleAQ Chile, he has been with the company for eight years, and has a background as a marine engineer and an MBA. Until a new production manager is hired, César will temporarily also assume the role of production manager for steel production at our factory in Chile.
