The world is facing major challenges in finding sustainable food sources for a rapidly growing world population. Global demand for seafood is growing. Aquaculture is one of the most sustainable ways to produce food and is part of the solution if the world is to achieve the UN’s sustainability goals.

We who work in ScaleAQ are important delivers of the premises for the future aquaculture industry. We have an important and exciting mission. To accelerate this work, we are now establishing a sustainability forum that will gather expertise across our regions and market areas.

We are now looking for internal sustainability ambassadors for our international sustainability team in ScaleAQ. Don’t hestitat to show your interest if you share our sustainability ambitions. We are looking for sustainability ambassadors from all our locations and different parts of the company such as HSE, HR, Analysis, Finance, Supply chain, Service, Marine engineering, sales / market, production etc.

As a sustainability ambassador, you will receive the necessary training and become an important link between our innovation and research environment and our operational operations. Our ambassadors must also be visible representatives of sustainability internally, and ensure that sustainability is on the agenda, both in our own department and in new development processes locally. The ambassador shall contribute to share knowledge and awareness among colleagues.

Specific tasks:

• Assist in the work of preparing road maps with specific goals and KPIs for sustainability in ScaleAQ
• Be a resource for collecting data for our sustainability reporting
• Participate actively in sustainability forums with ambassadors across departments and locations
• Have an overview and feel free to actively participate in sustainability projects in the company
• Contribute to communicating and informing in your own department

The sustainability ambassador will be released from ordinary position with an estimated time consumption of about 10% position, but load will vary slightly depending on the activities. We envisage 4 to 6 representatives in the Sustainability Team from Norway and one from each country where ScaleAQ is present.
