In June and the beginning of July, we received the following sales confirmation:

Seløy Sjøfarm doubling license, Mercatus Farmer. On Seløy in Herøy municipality, salmon and trout have been farmed since 1977. The company currently has 3 licenses for salmon and trout and co-locates with 1 display license and 2 R&D licenses. Also collaborates with Bindalaks AS with hospitality of fish on 4 licenses.

Austevoll Melaks . Mercatus Farmer & Future. Austevoll Melaks is a traditional family business that produces food fish for Atlantic salmon in Vestland county. Austevoll Melaks has been producing Atlantic salmon since 1978 and currently has 3 licenses of salmon and trout.

NovaSea , Mercatus Optimization. NovaSea sees that they get good benefit in production planning in Mercatus Future with optimization and now chooses after we have worked closely with their biological planner to renew the agreement. We will then continue as a partner where NovaSea assists us with accessibility to their team to make optimization better for them and for our future customers.

Aquna – Murray Cod. Located in Australia. Organic farming of Murray Cod, which is a vulnerable and protected species, a large freshwater predatory fish and not related to Gadus / Cod. This is land-based farming but in ponds.

Nordic Aquafarms

Sashimi Royal A / S produces organic Yellowtail Kingfish in Hanstholm, Denmark. They will have an annual output of 600MT and the potential to increase to 6000MT.

Maximus A / S produces smolt for Sashimi Royal A / S and will also deliver to Fredrikstad Seafood, which we already have as a customer and which will change its production from land-based salmon to yellowtail kingfish. All three will share an installation of Nordic Aquafarms’ installation of Farmer. Nordic Aquafarms’ ambition is to be one of the leading land-based fish farmers with a focus on production close to large markets. The products will probably be found at several sushi restaurants in Norway and are certified to a Japanese Ikijime quality.

Nordic Aquafarms INC is also developing two locations in the USA; Belfast, Maine 218000m2 and in Humboldt, California a 202000m2 area.
