Aqua-IS Lagarlif 2022

I had the pleasure to visit Iceland, joining the conference Aqua-Is / Lagarlif 2022, which attracted 400+ participants, representing all companies within Aquaculture on Iceland.

ScaleAQ were one of the main sponsors, and we were well represented with the local team supported by central team coming from Norway.

Iceland is a very strong and exiting marked for us, although only around a total of 40 t ton of production today, with a license of around 100 t ton, they see potentials for further growth.

During the conference, customer dinners and events, it became apparent how strong relation and position we have been able to build with our customers and partners over the last months and years, making ScaleAQ market leader as supplier for the fish farmers.

We are very close with the key major customers, and got very good feedback from all on them – both in terms of the quality and robustness of our products, but just as much in respect of the interaction, service and follow-up.

This is truly a strong team work, all the way from operations – logistics, production and projects – through the global teams – to the local team in Iceland following up – all ensuring we become the preferred partner.

There is however no time for resting nor becoming complacent, we will continue to develop and improve as we do – to further develop the industry and ScaleAQ both in Iceland and all other regions!
