As a further step in our development of ScaleAQ, we are now making some changes to strengthen our focus on the major international players.

In the last 20 years, the industry has moved in the direction of larger and more dominant players, several of whom are also investing internationally. These companies now form a large and important part of our turnover, but often trade only a small part of the total portfolio ScaleAQ offers. The companies have become more professional in terms of purchasing, operation and selection of partners, and we are seeing an increasing degree of centralized decision-making processes. To meet this, we want to build a new function in ScaleAQ that will work more closely and more strategically with these large and important customers.

Stig Førre will build up and lead this new venture towards our international customers. We build on the experience Stig has from the aquaculture industry, the customer network and the knowledge of ScaleAQ in relation to being the spearhead towards our international customers.
Stig has 25 years of experience in the industry, with experience from both BioMar, Steinsvik and Aqualine. He established and developed the role of CCO in ScaleAQ in 2019, launched ScaleAQ externally on AquaNor in August 2019, and has since built up a strong marketing and sales apparatus nationally and internationally, where ScaleAQ has become a leading player in the industry. At the launch of ScaleAQ, Stig launched the concept ScaleAQ as a strong Advisor and Partner , which has been very successful and well received in the market. It is therefore only natural that Stig takes on the role of VP Customer Relations, which will be a natural continuation and development of Partner & Advisor – the concept towards our largest international customers.
As part of this change, we will now start the process of finding a replacement for Stig in the CCO role. However, Stig will continue as CCO until a new CCO is in place, which will naturally take some time.

In the coming years, new, stricter regulations and further focus on sustainable solutions will place far greater demands on our role as an advisor and supplier of solid, safe and preferred products and solutions. In addition, our investment in comprehensive solutions in both traditional aquaculture, CAS and more exposed aquaculture will entail a further need to safeguard both the practical and maritime understanding, in our ambition to lead in this development.
As part of this, and to contribute to both strengthening and maintaining the company’s position as a leading supplier of equipment and services to Norwegian and international aquaculture, Audun Fjeldvær will take up a newly created position as Head of ScaleAQ, a position that will cover these needs going forward.
Audun has held various sales manager roles in ScaleAQ via Aqualine (since 2013), and is moving into the new position from his current position as Sales Director Nordic in ScaleAQ and Moen Marin.
In addition to its product and customer understanding from ScaleAQ and Aqualine, Audun has many years of practical experience in aquaculture, both from SalMar Farming and MOWI.
In the form of its new role, Audun will contribute to developing the company’s policy and expertise in the field, as well as contribute to ensuring and maintaining the integrity of the products and solutions offered in a holistic and sustainable perspective.
Audun will be part of the group’s management team and work across the company’s departments to meet the technical complexity of our customers’ needs, with robust and quality-assured central product lines for sea-based aquaculture.
The process of recruiting a new Sales Director for the Nordic region has begun.
With both Stig and Audun in prominent and central roles in the company, as well as a further strengthening of the sales side, we will be even stronger equipped to develop the company further.
