We are proud sponsors of Vestri football club from Ísafjördur, some hours north of Reykjavik in Iceland. Last week, on Friday August 22, the club became cup champions in Iceland. The cup victory means that they are the first club to qualify for play in the Europa League.

Ísafjördur is in the middle of the farming region in Iceland. It’s important for us to sponsor the sport and to build relationships with the local community and customers in the area. According to reliable sources, the victory is the most important thing that has ever happened in the region!

The whole town celebrated the victory when Vestri returned home to Ísafjördur. Here you can see video from the celebrations and not at least the pearl of a goal, which secured the club the cup gold and Europa League play.
