We are pleased to announce that Audun Fjeldvær has been appointed as the CEO of ScaleAQ Group. Audun has been a central part of our organization since 2013 and has successfully led our seabased division since March 2023. With over ten years of experience at both Aqualine and ScaleAQ, along with valuable experience in the aquaculture and fish farming industries, Audun brings a deep understanding of the industry and the challenges and opportunities we face

Audun Fjeldvær expresses great enthusiasm for his new role as CEO of ScaleAQ Group:

Thanking Svein Vestermo for his efforts as interim CEO

We would also like to thank Svein Vestermo for his work as interim CEO during this transition period. Svein has shown strong leadership and dedication, and he will now continue in his important role as CFO of ScaleAQ Group.

“Svein has performed the role of interim CEO with a steady and capable hand, allowing us to take the necessary time to find a new leader for the group. I would like to extend a special thank you to Svein for the additional workload this interim period has entailed and for how he handled being placed in this position at short notice back in 2023,” says Chairman Torgeir Svae

The future is bright for ScaleAQ

New leader for the Seabased Division

Sigurd Flaat Liljefjell will take over as CEO of our Seabased division. Sigurd has been part of ScaleAQ since 2018, starting as Head of Finance at Aqualine AS, and since 2023, he has served as CFO of ScaleAQ Seabased.

“In his role as CFO at Seabased, Sigurd has shown commitment and initiative beyond expectations, and together with the leadership team at Seabased, he has contributed significantly to the results we are now seeing. Sigurd will be able to take over the baton and help us maintain a strong customer focus, efficient operations, and the ambition to further improve these in the future,” says Audun.

Sigurd looks forward to continuing the good work and building on the foundation that has been laid:

Audun and Sigurd will assume their new roles from August 19.

Det er med stor glede vi kan meddele at Audun Fjeldvær er ansatt som CEO i ScaleAQ Group. Audun har vært en sentral del av vår organisasjon siden 2013, og har siden mars 2023 ledet vår sjøbaserte virksomhet med stor suksess. Med over ti års erfaring fra både Aqualine og ScaleAQ, samt verdifull arbeidserfaring fra oppdrett i sjø, bringer Audun med seg en inngående forståelse for bransjen og de utfordringer og muligheter vi står overfor.

Audun Fjeldvær uttrykker stor entusiasme for sin nye rolle som CEO i ScaleAQ Group:

– Jeg ser veldig frem til å gå inn i rollen som CEO i ScaleAQ Group. Vi har både i våre divisjoner og i konsernledelsen som helhet svært kompetente og erfaringsrike medarbeidere, hvor vi vil ha utfyllende kvaliteter i forhold til hverandre. Mitt mål er å jobbe hardt for å sikre at vi i samspill med divisjonene skaper et sterkt fellesskap, som vil bidra til et godt og veldrevet arbeidsmiljø. Gjennom å ha de mest motiverte medarbeiderne i alle ledd i vår organisasjon, skal vi sikre videre vekst og sammen jobbe mot å nå våre strategiske mål.

Takker Svein Vestermo for innsatsen som interim CEO

Vi ønsker også å takke Svein Vestermo for jobben han har gjort som interim CEO i denne overgangsperioden. Svein har vist sterk ledelse og engasjement, og han fortsetter nå i sin viktige rolle som CFO i ScaleAQ Group.  

“Svein har utført jobben som interim CEO med en stødig og god hånd, og har bidratt til at vi har kunnet bruke god tid på å finne ny leder for konsernet. Jeg vil rette en ekstra takk til Svein for det merarbeidet denne interim-perioden har medført og hvordan han har håndtert å bli satt i denne posisjonen på kort varsel tilbake i 2023.” – Sier Styrelder Torgeir Svae

Fremtiden er lys for ScaleAQ

Med ScaleAQ Seabased, ScaleAQ Software, ScaleAQ Chile, Moen Marin og Maskon, er vi godt posisjonert til å fortsette vår reise som en ledende aktør i den globale havbruksnæringen. 

Vi har store ambisjoner frem til 2030, hvor vi gjennom flere initiativer som vi har avdekket gjennom et godt strategiløp, skal ta oss videre til en omsetning på 10 milliarder kroner. 

Sammen med en global stab på over 900 dyktige medarbeidere, er vi klare til å forme fremtiden for bærekraftig akvakultur, og fortsette å levere innovative og bærekraftige løsninger til våre kunder. 

Ny leder for den sjøbaserte divisjonen

I forbindelse med Auduns nye rolle, vil Sigurd Flaat Liljefjell ta over som CEO for vår sjøbaserte divisjon. Sigurd har vært en del av ScaleAQ siden 2018 hvor han startet som Økonomiansvarlig i Aqualine AS, og har siden 2023 vært CFO i ScaleAQ Seabased.  

“Sigurd har i sin rolle som CFO i Seabased vist et engasjement og initiativ som går ut over hva man kan forvente og har sammen med ledergruppen i Seabased bidratt sterkt til at vi har nådd de resultater som vi nå ser. Sigurd vil kunne ta over stafett-pinnen og bidra til at vi opprettholder det sterke kundefokuset, den gode driften og ambisjonene til å videre forbedre dette ytterligere inn i fremtiden” – Sier Audun 

Sigurd ser frem til å fortsette det gode arbeidet og bygge videre på fundamentet som er lagt: 

– Det er med stor glede og ydmykhet jeg nå går inn i rollen som CEO for ScaleAQ Seabased. Jeg vil fortsette den gode jobben Audun har utført, og ser frem til å lede divisjonen videre inn i fremtiden. 

Audun og Sigurd vil gå inn i sine nye roller fra og med 19.08.
